Richard Andrews has built a career in the property industry, holding executive roles with leading institutional firms such as Lendlease and GPT, as well as working with various unlisted property funds and not-for-profit organisations.
After specialising in the retirement villages and seniors living sector, Richard founded Calyptus Co-living, a seniors rental accommodation business created to meet the growing demand for quality, affordable housing for older Australians. Under his leadership, the business expanded across Greater Brisbane and into South Australia, eventually providing homes for over 250 residents.
In 2025, Richard sold Calyptus privately after two unsuccessful attempts with both business and individual rent roll brokers. Reflecting on the experience, he now strongly advocates for using professional services like Real Estate Dynamics: “I would never recommend selling privately! The process was risky and took far longer than it should have. I left significant value on the table by not engaging an experienced broker like Real Estate Dynamics.”
Today, Richard brings together his institutional transaction expertise and hands-on rent roll experience to support Real Estate Dynamics clients. He ensures their interests are protected, confidentiality is upheld, and every transaction is executed smoothly.
Outside of work, Richard is a proud father of two young boys and enjoys everything related to saltwater—from fishing to swimming and everything in between.
